Regeneration Positive - Portfolio
Regeneration Positive has been developed to provide an excellent service to clients with a foundation based upon decades of experience in major project and developments. Work experience has covered a full range of town centre development schemes, environmental improvement schemes, restoration projects and regeneration opportunities and this experience has been further developed with areas such as neighbourhood planning to help shape the future of the places where people live and work. Some of the commercial projects are outlined in the "More" section of the web-site.

Chawston Lakes, Wyboston, Bedfordshire
The area is a former gravel extraction, used for fishing since around 1963, and the Chawston Lakes Fishing Complex has now developed into a comprehensive leisure facility.
Regeneration Positive were involved in the successful application to allow for manager’s accommodation and additional caravan pitches to cater for the touring fisherman. The application was determined in Spring 2014 and this new leisure complex has real potential to make a positive contribution to the tourism economy in Bedford.

The Queens Head, Bedford
The site had been vacant for some considerable time, with no prospect of restoration for its continued use as a Public House. Regeneration Positive played a key role in confirming a very strong local support for investment in this location to overcome what was regarded as a long term concern at the state of the existing site. The local support for conversion into high quality residential apartments was considerable and convincing and planning consent was obtained in January 2015.
Neighbourhood Planning
Regeneration Positive is supporting a number of Parish Councils to develop a Neighbourhood Plan to help influence the future use of land and buildings in their area. A partnership approach, in areas like visioning, community consultation, research, evidence gathering and action planning, helps maximise outputs in line with the resource available to the Parish Council. Once adopted, Neighbourhood Plans become a formal part of the planning policy for the area, alongside Bedford Borough Council’s Local Plan and associated Development Plan documents.
