"I worked with Trevor in his time at Bedford Borough as a key partner of Northgate Public Services for over 10 years.
One of the key components of our relationship was how we often used Trevor as a key sounding board for our new ideas and innovations, due to our significant respect for his business acumen, receptiveness, and clarity of thought.
And especially for not only his ability to quickly and concisely assess the value of our propositions, but also to add considerable value.
I believe this is a great testament to the scope and depth of Trevor's understanding of Public Sector, supported by his open door policy to doing better things in the best interests of everyone.
I'd have no hesitation at all in recommending Trevor as a partner and friend if you want problems solving or strategies enacted with the support of a trusted completer finisher."

'We worked for Trevor Roff in his capacity as Director of Regeneration for Bedford Borough Council on a number of projects over a period of some 10 years: Trevor's great skill is the energy and commitment he brings to delivering projects coupled with a real understanding of the development framework and process, and the ability to evaluate and manage risk."

Trevor was the Head of Economic Development at Bedford Borough Council when I first met him, whilst I was a Director of Complex Development Projects (CDP) . At that time CDP were investigating the opportunity of developing a town centre car park site that had lain derelict for almost 30 years. Whilst it was a fantastic opportunity it was never going to be easy and we had to be reassured that the Council and, moreover, Trevor as the project lead had the positive "can do" attitude we needed in a partner - this was evident in abundance from the outset. We learnt very early in the process that Trevor himself had been instrumental in formulating ideas for the site prior to our involvement showing great vision and understanding of the development process. Throughout the long legal negotiations Trevor was thorough, professional, tenacious and was a formidable opponent to negotiate with. Getting any regeneration scheme on site involves contact with a Local Authority on so many levels and Trevor's ability to galvanize both Members and Officers made this so much easier and no one in the Council was ever able to lose sight of the importance of the project to the Borough.
The project undertaken by CDP became known as "Castle Quay" and it was a successful project for the Company and this significantly reflects Trevor's input into the process.
There is no better testament than to say I would welcome the opportunity of working with Trevor again in the future if this were a possibility.
David Freer Former Director Complex Development Projects.
Trevor is a great man to work with.
We spent many very successful months working together on a large number of projects within Bedford.
He is one of the few people who can make things happen.

Trevor is a highly experienced ex local government Director who had a distinguished career as both a finance and regeneration professional. He was acknowledged for both his ability to manage large financial budgets, but also for the number of years he spent as manager on major regeneration projects in Bedford. These projects completely revitalised and improved the Town, offering high quality regeneration, growth and employment opportunities .
Trevor is of outstanding character, well organised and very personable, with a "can do" attitude. He is someone that responds to a challenge and is familiar with working to tight timescales, bringing his range if skills and experience to the forefront of any work assignments .
